The other side has a 2 more bedrooms, a bathroom plus an extra family room/bunk area with a walkout balcony. Unwind on the large patio to the fresh aroma of the surrounding forest and watch wildlife in your own backyard! Deer and Elk are your only back door neighbors here and will often "pop in" with no notice! The Cabin is situated on two lots to take advantage of the breathtaking views of the bordering Sitgreaves National Forest. USFS lots are rare and this great place includes two. The Forest has hundreds of miles of trails. Take your bike, horse or side by side right from the big attached garage onto forest trails. It's a short stroll through the woods to Long Tom Pond. Shhh-it's a secret-Long Pond Tom has some really big fish! The pond is part of the state's trout stocking program! In summer you can walk 5 minutes and toss a fly. Forest Lakes is the friendliest of communities and has 4 seasons. Considered by many to be the best summer weather in the world and only a two-hour drive from the worst summer weather in the world! The area is home to numerous lakes such as Willow Springs Lake and Woods Canyon Lake and streams teaming with fish. Canyon Creek is a nearby Blue Ribbon Fishery. Catch and release only and it's full of football-shaped brown trout. No HOA here but Forest Lakes does have a community owner organization that is donation only. There is a community center where events like craft fairs, a pancake breakfast,dances, and ice cream socials in the summer.
