The master now features a generous bath with double vanity, water closet and glassed-in shower plus a seriously enviable walk-in closet. New french doors from the master now lead to one of the patios in the backyard. But that wasn't all.. I see a lot of references to "Chefs kitchen" in my line of work. It always sparks a feeling in me like watching a Julia Childs rerun (remember Julia?) with chipped mixing bowls and worn cookie sheets darkened by decades of delectable cookies and pastries. A true chefs kitchen should inspire one to create. To don an apron, bring together beautiful ingredients for an evening meal, turn on the radio, pour some wine and lose yourself in the process. This space should be timeless, comfortable, energizing and  above all else  functional. That, my friends, is here. Opening to an outdoor entertaining space that features multiple gathering areas for any time of the year. Imagine dining under the twinkling lights of the pergola or warming yourself in front of the corten steel fire pit, there is a grilling station and seating that looks over a grassy (artificial now, but could easily be live) lawn that leads to a fully mature sweet orange tree. The backyard is divided by a weathered split rail fence that allows guests their own access to the property without risking escape for any of the furry housemates. This space is something else. An area for seating and coffee opens with French doors to a sun-filled patio. There is also a spacious bedroom and ¾ bath. In addition to the renovated spaces, there are rooms that were already too perfect to change. The main living room is sized perfectly for a group to watch the game, but intimate enough for a quiet evening binge watching the new season of your favorite show. Custom shelving here allows the room to feature art and collections that make you, well.. you, without letting the dreaded TV command the entire room. The same has been said for the dining room. It's spacious and well appointed with generous corner steel-framed windows that bathe the room in morning light. This, as I'm sure you have come to understand, is a space that I'm clearly fond of.
